Rev. Christie Bature Ogbeifun received Christ into her life in 1979, has been in full time ministry since 1989, and is the president of Sine Qua Non Ministries, Port Harcourt. It is a multifaceted ministry with emphasis on the word, music and down to earth teaching. She is from Kaduna state, Bajju by tribe, while her husband is from Edo state. She grew up in Kano, attended S.I.M. primary school, Kano, Federal Government Girls’ college Yola, and Federal Polytechnic Bida. Christie has a background of Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, but opted for ministry as she found more fulfillment there.
Christie is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, a certified Life Coach, and a member of the American Association of Sexual Addictions Therapists. An arm of the ministry – PACT Network – runs leadership trainings for churches and individuals on addictions and recovery. It also runs seminars for corporate organizations on the effects of Addictions on Polity and Productivity.
In January of 2015, she opened the first proper drug and other addictions rehabilitation centre in the South-South zone of Nigeria, in Port Harcourt. She has written thirteen books and also has six albums. Married to Greg Ogbeifun, they make their home in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and have many children.
